Meet Virtually Staff - December 4, 2022
A Message from the Founders
Today, we’re excited to share that Meet Virtually is expanding into the world of Live Events with the launch of our new venture, Source in the City. Meet Virtually will continue to operate completely unchanged, and now Source in the City can assist our corporate clients in producing and sourcing hybrid and live event solutions across the United States. This change enables our clients to take advantage of our industry knowledge and expertise in new ways while maintaining the highest level of customer service and experience, all under one roof.
How it Started
The founders of Meet Virtually are experts “sorcerers (wizards)” in sourcing talent, venues, A/V, hotels, CSR team builders, etc., and have spent a collective two decades working with the largest global event brands. Our goal has always been to eliminate the friction for organizations and their teams along the event sourcing chain.
In 2020, our world was turned upside down, and we rapidly transitioned into virtual events. We jumped at the chance to support our clients as we helped them reimagine the limits of virtual events. Since then, we have sourced and produced over 500 virtual events for groups of 10 to 5000 event attendees with the highest quality experience and talent.
We’ve been lucky enough to work with Fortune 500 clients to bring them experiences with world-class sommeliers, mixologists, celebrity chocolatiers, emcees, magicians, and broadway performers - not to mention renowned celebrities such as Yo-Yo Ma and Jim Gaffigan.
Fast forward to today, as we launch Source in the City to support clients in the next phase of the live event journey, we’ve seen and experienced the new challenges of rushing back to live events. As we have more conversations with clients and suppliers, it’s become obvious that event hands are at a premium, and everyone is being asked to shoulder a workload designed for more than just themselves.
Source in the City is the result of trying to alleviate that specific issue. Together, we can make a massive difference in the experience of your guest at live events and your organization's bottom line.
As the live event world has changed and event suppliers' contracts have adjusted, so have we. We know what it takes to offer the highest level of service while managing the expectations and realities of planning live events.
Where We’re Going
To serve our community better, we’re expanding our service offerings. With this evolution, we're increasing the impact we’ve been making for you all along: eliminating friction at all levels of any event-sourcing experience. We will hone in even further on the needs of our distinct audiences and become an integral extension of your team.
For Source in the City, this means doubling down on our mission to connect the world one event at a time. We've learned over the last decade that people don’t want just a service provider; they want to find a dedicated partner that values relationships over anything else. Our new venture, Source In the City, embodies that spirit of discovery and relationship.
This belief will become our focus as we provide the tools, information, and support to help our clients discover and eliminate event-based frictions.
What we will be offering:
- Hotel Room Block Sourcing - Groups of 10 or more traveling to any city across the country for meetings and events, incentives, etc.
- Event Venue and Food and Beverage Sourcing
- Private Dining Experiences
- Audio Visual Consulting and Sourcing
- Event Staffing
- Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives easily molded into your team.
And this is just the beginning. We will continually improve and proactively adjust to serve our clients in the most impactful ways. Find us at www.sourceinthecity.com.
